We have a new E-commerce exclusive.
The PAM01304 Luminor Quaranta “Verde Militare” is a 40mm Luminor 1950 with a green “verde militare”-dial and white indices.
The watch has a diameter of 40mm and is 12.8mm thick and is aimed for the person looking for a Panerai on the smaller side. Inside the watch you find the automatic caliber P.900 with a date and 3 days of power reserve.
The caseback is “driven” which means that it is pressed in with force, similar to how the sapphire glass on the front is applied and the watch has a WR-rating of 100m.
The PAM01304 will be limited-edition of 500 pieces and have a retail price of €7.200. It will only be available in the E-boutique.
My personal opinion? I selfishly wish that it had the now-discontinued 42mm Luminor 1950 case as the Quaranta wears a bit too small for my taste, on my 18cm wrist. I absolutely love the color scheme of military green and white indices and it is definitely the most beautiful “Quaranta” in the current collection without any doubt. I also don’t care for the blue-colored subsecond on the black dialed Quaranta (PAM01272) so I love that they kept the clean look on this Verde Militare with silver-colored hands.
I would say that if you have a wrist size of 16cm or lower or if you’ve been looking into smaller Panerais and the Due-line, this watch should be on your shortlist.
